Best Business Schools Hiring:
Consumer Products Industry

The consumer products industry accounted for 5% of all hires, fifth highest of any industry, among MBA graduates taking their first jobs after business school. Indian School of Business sent 35 graduates, the most of any school, into consumer products. Second was Northwestern’s Kellogg, at 28, followed by the University of Michigan’s Ross, at 27. The industry consists of many early-stage companies making everything from personal care products and toiletries to food items and household products—appealing to more entrepreneurial MBAs. "We are fortunate to have great relationships with many different consumer packaged goods companies, including PepsiCo, General Mills, and Kraft Heinz, who have hired many Michigan Ross MBA graduates over the years," said Heather Byrne, managing director of the Career Development Office at Ross.
