Technology accounted for 21.2% of all hires, second highest of any industry, among MBA graduates in their first jobs after business school among the 119 schools around the world that participated in the 2021-22 Best B-Schools ranking of full-time MBA programs. EDHEC MBA graduates earned a median salary of $162,162 in technology, highest of all schools that participated in the business school ranking. Graduates of five schools earned a median salary of $140,000, second highest, including University of Chicago’s Booth school, Harvard, University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton, Stanford, and UC at Berkeley’s Haas. MIT’s Sloan school graduates had a median salary of $139,500, the seventh-highest level. INSEAD sent 135 graduates into technology, the most of any school. Second was Harvard, at 103, followed by London Business School, at 100. Texas A&M’s Mays and University of Utah’s Eccles sent 50% of their MBA graduates into technology, highest among all schools in the Bloomberg Businessweek business school ranking. At 47.8%, University of Washington’s Foster school had the next highest.
