UNC Nears Deal for Belichick as Next Football Coach, Reports Say

Bill Belichick is nearing a deal to become the next head football coach at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, succeeding Mack Brown.

The UNC Board of Trustees will meet on Wednesday to approve Belichick’s contract, according to ABC11. But there are still issues that both sides need to work out, ESPN reported, with a resolution expected in the near future.
