Bridgestone’s Liberia Plantation Workers Halt Strike Amid Talks

The decision to halt the stoppage followed mediation by Liberia’s labor ministry that culminated in an agreement to hold further talks in good faith, Marcus Blamah, secretary-general of the National Timber, Wood, Construction & Allied Workers’ Union of Liberia, said by phone.
