Liberia Suspends 400 Top Officials for Non-Declaration of Assets

Liberian President Joseph Boakai has suspended more than 400 top officials in his administration for failing to declare their assets to the anti-corruption agency.
The affected public servants, whose duties are paused for a period of one month without pay, include, the chairman of the National Oil Company of Liberia, the minister of commerce and industry and ambassadors to the US, UK and the United Nations.
