Lone Star’s Novo Banco Said to Add More Banks to Lisbon IPO

Portuguese lender Novo Banco SA has added more banks to work on a planned initial public offering, according to people familiar with the matter.

BNP Paribas SA, Jefferies Financial Group Inc. and Keefe, Bruyette & Woods Inc. have been selected as additional global coordinators for the Lone Star Funds-backed company’s IPO, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the matter is private. Novo Banco’s IPO could raise €1 billion ($1.1 billion) or more depending on investor demand, according to the people.
