Sitetracker Inc. is exploring a sale that could value the software platform for managing infrastructure assets at about $1 billion, according to people familiar with the matter.

Sitetracker is working with Evercore Inc. to help find a buyer, said the people, who asked to not be identified because the details are private. Potential buyers include private equity firms and industry rivals, the people said.
