Malaysia’s highest court allowed the Attorney General’s Chambers to pursue its appeal against former Prime Minister Najib Razak’s bid for house arrest, in a fresh blow for the jailed politician.

The AGC received leave from the Federal Court on Monday to challenge a Court of Appeal decision in January that allowed Najib to resume his petition to serve the remainder of his prison sentence at home.
