FC Barcelona will move its US commercial operations to Miami from New York, burnishing the South Florida city’s reputation as an American soccer hub.

The Miami Downtown Development Authority, an agency tasked with promoting the city’s urban core, helped close the deal with a business incentive grant, FC Barcelona said in a statement Wednesday without providing financial details.
