Thiam Steps Down as Leader of Ivory Coast Opposition Party

Ernest N’koumo Mobio, a vice president of the party, will take over as acting leader of the Democratic Party of Ivory Coast, the organization said in a statement dated May 11. Thiam will serve as deputy chairman to assist the interim leader, it said in a separate statement on Monday.
