An Ivory Coast court delayed a ruling on whether former Credit Suisse AG Chief Executive Officer Tidjane Thiam was eligible to lead the country’s main opposition party when he was elected in 2023.

The decision will be given on May 22, Aminata Touré, a judge of the Abidjan Court of First Instance, said on Thursday. The court has twice postponed the verdict, seeking more time last week to study fresh evidence from Thiam’s team.
