Telefonica Looking to Boost Defense Investments, Murtra Says

Telefonica SA said it wants to ramp up investments in defense as military budgets swell across Europe.

“We don’t make public how much we have in defense and security, but it’s little, or too little, in my view,” Chairman Marc Murtra said during a hearing in congress. “It will be a line of work we’ll prioritize and invest in to support Spain’s defense policies.”
