Angola Gets Budget Relief From Oil Gains on Middle East Tension

Angola may meet its 2025 budget goals without major spending cuts if the oil price remains around $70 where it was benchmarked at, Minister of State for Economic Coordination Jose de Lima Massano said.

“It’s too early for conclusions,” Massano said. But recent price hikes “mean that 2025 projects can proceed without freezing spending.”
