Dutch far-right leader Geert Wilders met with Donald Trump on the sidelines of the NATO Summit in The Hague, where they discussed “the need for tougher immigration laws,” Wilders said in a post on X.

Trump told reporters he didn’t know Wilders before, but “he seemed like a very nice guy,” at a press conference in The Hague at the end of the summit. In reference to Wilders’ outspoken anti-Muslim stance, Trump said “it’s his view. He’s unhappy with how a lot of things are going in this country.”
