Trump Seeks Deal With West African Leaders on Deportations

The US government asked a group of African leaders for help with efforts to deport asylum seekers, according to Liberian President Joseph Boakai.

The topic of removing undocumented immigrants from the US — a signature policy of the Trump administration — was discussed at a summit with the leaders of Gabon, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mauritania and Senegal this week, Boakai said in an interview with Monrovia-based FrontPage Africa on Thursday.
