Ireland’s Next Budget Must Be Prudent, Business Lobby Warns

Ireland’s finance ministry must better balance income and expenditure to protect public finances from global trade turmoil, the country’s biggest business lobbyist said.

The budget package should not exceed net €3 billion ($3.5 billion), Ibec warned in a Tuesday submission to the government ahead of the fiscal event planned for October.
