Booking Holdings Gives Lukewarm Forecast, Citing Uncertainty
Booking Holdings Inc. delivered a tepid forecast for the third quarter, warning that “increased uncertainty” in the economic and geopolitical environment threatens to weigh on travel demand.
The online travel agent, which operates the Kayak, Priceline and Booking.com brands, said that room-nights growth will be roughly 4.5% in the period. Analysts had estimated 5.5% on average for the closely watched measure, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
