Air-Conditioner Maker Aux Electric Is Said to Target Hong Kong IPO in September

Aux Electric Co., one of China’s top makers of air conditioners, is targeting to go public in Hong Kong as early as September in a listing that could raise $600 million to $800 million, according to people familiar with the matter.

Deliberations are ongoing, and the size and timing of the deal may change, the people said. The Ningbo-based company is gearing up for the initial public offering after having secured the Chinese securities regulator’s green lightBloomberg Terminal in July.
