Angolan Government to Compensate Businesses Hit by Deadly Unrest

Angola will approve compensation measures for businesses damaged during this week’s deadly protests as early as next Monday, President João Lourenço said.

The move aims to restore inventory and preserve jobs at firms affected by a “wave of vandalism,” Lourenço said in remarks broadcast on state-owned RNA Radio Friday.
