Somalia State Releases Military Cargo After Turkish Intervention

Somalia’s semi-autonomous Puntland will release a vessel full of military equipment belonging to Turkey almost two weeks after seizing it.

Turkey’s ambassador to Somalia, Alper Aktaş, met with Puntland President Said Abdullahi Deni, and shared evidence that the cargo on the MV Sea World belongs to his country’s government, the Somali state said in a statement on its Facebook page.
