Cohere Signs Agreement with Canadian Government on Expanding AI
Canadian artificial intelligence firm Cohere Inc. has signed a non-binding agreement with Prime Minister Mark Carney’s government to potentially expand the use of the technology in the public sector.
The memorandum of understanding also pledges to look at opportunities “to build out Canada’s commercial capabilities in using and exporting AI,” said a news release from the office of Evan Solomon, Canada’s minister of artificial intelligence and digital innovation.
