Garell Exits JPMorgan for Leveraged Finance Rival

Zev Garell has left JPMorgan Chase & Co. after 23 years to join Barclays Plc’s leveraged finance team, according to people familiar with the matter.

Garell will join Barclays in London as Head of Leveraged Finance EMEA, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the matter is private. He steps into a spot vacated by Tim Kerry, who left for Jefferies Financial Group Inc. earlier this year.
