The U.K. could be headed for its third general election since 2015 in an attempt to resolve the Brexit crisis paralyzing the country. Boris Johnson won the backing of opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn for a poll between Dec. 9-12. It's set to become a proxy referendum on EU membership and may be the last chance voters have to choose between parties offering to cancel Brexit or force through a hard split at any cost.
