Hi, Top Shelf drinkers, it’sElin McCoy, with all things wine, and no, I haven’t been observing Dry January. I find a glass of red, white, rosé or sparkling with family and friends over dinner is convivial and comforting in this crazy, chaotic world.

But I have embraced “zebra striping.” It’s a way of cutting down on the amount you drink by alternating between wines with alcohol and those without. I’ve been comparing the dozens of new zero-alcohol bottlings alongside the real thing, and yes, I found some I actually wanted to drink. (Expect my rating report soon.)
