Manufacturers Can’t Buck the Consumer Slowdown for Long
Major industrial companies have largely been taking sweeping tariffs in stride, but the mood is quite different on the consumer side of the economy.
Manufacturers including Trane Technologies aren’t yet seeing demand declines because of tariffs. It’s not clear how long that can last as consumer companies warn of a pullback.
