Trump’s Hunt for Legal Retribution Has Begun
The president is bending the law to his will in firing Justice Department prosecutors who were involved in cases against him.

On Monday, more than a dozen federal prosecutors received a “notice of removal from federal service” from acting Attorney General James McHenry. The prosecutors served in the office of Special Counsel Jack Smith and participated in cases that charged President Donald Trump with interfering with the 2020 election and unlawfully retaining government documents.
